This is a heart touching book. The idea came about a few years after the Syrian Crisis, where the UNFPA wanted to start a fundraiser by showing the donors the efforts and accomplishments that were achieved in the form of real stories. It includes crisis and challenges, and how they turned into success stories. The UNFPA decided to take the approach of a Pictorial Book to tell the stories rather than the traditional numbers and reports approach.
